Course Introduction

Overall with state elicitation we are attempting to intentionally get someone (including ourselves!) to embody/experience a specific mind-body state.

Why?

  • We can elicit various resourceful states in ourself that we can have more access to in our life.
  • We can elicit resourceful states in others so that they can be more resourceful.
  • We can elicit problem states and explore how they work.
  • We can elicit problem states and explore what resource states will help to solve them.
  • We can elicit resource states and apply them to problem states.
  • We can elicit outcome states to create motivation and direction.
  • We can elicit outcome states to determine what resource states need to be developed in order to achieve it.
  • We can elicit states of excellence in ourselves so that we can have more access to them.
  • We can elicit states of excellence in others so we can learn to develop that excellence in ourselves.
  • We can elicit states of motivation in ourselves and others.
  • We can elicit states of rapport and connection.
  • We can elicit states of accelerated learning.
  • The list goes on…

Once you develop the skills to elicit states in yourself and others (we will be learning and practicing these skills in this course) you will be a much more effective communicator, coach, family member, business person, influencer, agent of change, personal developer, etc.
